Hello all, my name is Jeff and I recently picked up this 360 micro van. I had this van for about two weeks and have been looking for a mechanic to restore but so far the shops are turning this vehicle down. As you can see this will need to be worked on, and I am in need of a experienced mechanic in the So-Cal area. All the windows are missing on this vehicle, and this car does not run. If I am able to find parts for this ride, I might have a mechanic that will work on this on the month of September.

I bought this van from a member of the "Official Subaru 360 Drivers Club " Facebook page and was referred here by the admin.

Here are a list of parts needed :
-Part#642513000 Saucer (Oil tank)
-Part#684125071 Oval Room light Complete
-Part#684108010 Oval Room Light Lens Only
-Rear Passenger Side lens
-Part#691011000 Splash Board
-Part#691001061 Interior Rear View Mirror
-Part#391091091 Outer Rear View Mirror
-I will need all windows/seals/hardware except for the driver side triangle window.
-Part#661139001 2x Door Pocket
-Part#64420012 Muffler
-Part#631101063 Upper Steering Wheel Cver
-Part#820150550 Air Cleaner Case & Hardware
-Missing door knob/button (see picture)
-Rear bench seat; complete
-Part#623005040 Wheel Cap
-Part#116052030 Bracket (Belt Stopper)
-Part#116052040 Belt Stopper
-Part#684101070 Rear lens

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, this is all new to me. I am also new to the forums & facebook.

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff, Welcome to the club. The other members and I will try to help you with your van. First, add your area (SoCal?) or your city to the info listed on the left. I have a mobile mechanic who lives in Santa Ana and who specializes in Subaru 360s. You're lucky to be coming into the community now, as recently we have had an explosion of parts become available through the efforts of several members who are repopping many of the needed bits. I'm in Arcadia, if you'd like to come by to get an education about your van. Tomorrow I'll go through your forum posting and give you some referrals. Good luck with your Subie 360. Roger Ward

Welcome and good luck with the van. You are lucky you are in "SoCal" as there are a lot of 360 owners there. You will get all the help you can take here, many who are experts in all parts of repair and replacement.

Jeff - welcome to The Club! I drove a 360 van
almost every day for 40+ years and it never let
me down. You will have lots of fun when you
get it on the road!

5 years ago I could still have done the work on
yours, now at 81 I can still get down and get
under but can't get up again!
