So, I'm VERY new to 360's...I work at a self storage facility and a gentleman was storing a 69 van. He decided that he didn't want to deal with moving it (along with about 30 ceiling fan motors...wierd,) and my boss thought it might be cool to have him sign the title over to us in exchange for back rent and restore it. This is the first time I've seen or even heard of the 360, and it actually took a bit of research online to even figure out what the heck it was.
So...I'm kinda starting from scratch here. I've got a mechanic friend that came over last night to take a look, and he says it'll be no problem to get it running, but finding parts to restore it (it's seen better days) might be difficult. Alas, I find this site!
I don't even technically own it yet, but as soon as I do, I'd love any advice on the best and worst things about restoring it. I figure I can afford to put a little money into it, as the car itself will be free.

Long introduction...I really just wanted to say "hi!" and be ready for a flood of questions from me when I finally get on this project!

DJ - there are lots of parts available thru Club Members and the Club Parts Depot. We also have a member in WA who works for Subaru and can get some items out of Japan. There are crossover parts for many applications (the Book of Reprints has lots of these listed) and other members have had hard-to-find parts reproduced.

There are 400 families in the Club, with close to 900 360s.
