My 360 story....so far.

Allow myself to introduce...........myself. My name is Jason Milsom and I've been interested in Micro cars my whole life. My interest in Subaru 360's began about 16 years ago. My Dad and I had gone to look at a Mk II Jaguar that he was interested in buying. It didn't turn out to be very good and we where driving home a little disappointed when we both spotted something interesting in the middle of a field. From the road all we could see was two rounded roofs sticking up from the tall grass. I had to investigate and of course they where Subaru's. I took a guess at which house they belonged to and was lucky enough to get the right one find out that they where in fact for sale! I bought both for $400 and towed them home a few days later.

One was more or less a parts car but the other was quite nice and I had it running and driving the same day I brought it home.
I drove it regularly for several years and very much enjoyed it. I found a motorcycle I thought I had to have (A john player Norton Commando) and sold the Subarus to raise the funds. The bike never quite lived up to my expectations and I always regretted selling the 360's.

Here is my old car next to an ordinary car.
I recently bought another 360 off of craigslist. It's in quite nice condition and unusually it is painted entirely black. There are a few very slight body modifications. I would prefer it to be stock but it does look nice. It had not been running since 2004. I've already had it started and it sounds good. The seller told me over the phone it had all new brakes when he bought it 10 years ago but after I drove 3 hours with a trailer I found out it has no brakes at all! It has a sleeved master cylinder but all the drums are completely empty. I know brake parts are hard to come by but the car is very solid and straight so I bought it anyway.
I've contacted a few drivers club member's with parts offered in the classifieds, but if anyone knows of parts or a parts car in the Seattle WA area I sure would appreciate any leads I can get!
Many thanks
