Looking good !! The roof seals & upper back glass seal along with the W/S seal will make a nice paint job. Is this a Young or a color change???

Not a young I wish

I'm going to got back to white maybe with a pearl

Yeah after reading about difficulty of procuring the replacement rubber
I was hesitant to remove but I had to couldn't and wouldn't feel right
What if there was some cancer growing under there
I leave Micky mousing to Disneyland
She ( Bella ) deserves the royal treatment
So now I include myself in the whole weatherstripping
Dilemma so please if the person who did the repop of the roof and windshield that allowed the stainless trim to be put back on please let me know about getting one of each
And any other weatherstripping for her

Thanks
Steve

I have the windshield rubber that accepts the stainless trim. There is a guy on ebay selling the roof rubber for 130 and the required locking strip for another 20 I believe. He says this same rubber can be used on the windshield. NO WAY. He is also selling the rubber to go across the back window. Some members have bought this one but nobody has posted wheather it works or not. There also is a guy on ebay selling the roof rubber and locking strip for 130. I have one of his and it looks very good. I also have the correct windshield rubber for 70.00 and 12.35 shipping. You can send a check to:

Here's a pic of the correct repop windshield rubber.

This is a pic of two old roof rubber samples and the one I got from the guy selling them one ebay with the locking strip for $130. The new one is on the right.

As you can see there is no possible way a stock windshield will fit in a stock opening with the roof rubber being used as the windshield rubber.
