Hello to everyone. My name is Tony_S and I have just bought a 1970 sedan which is currently awaiting shipment from Arkansas to Long Island N.Y. I bought the car on e bay and haven't seen it yet in the flesh but The p/o who is a man of a few words said it ran 5 years ago when parked . He claims it needs a battery and brake work. He also said the floor had some patch work done but didn't specify what. I have always wanted a micro car but never really found anything like a vespa, isetta or gogomobile that was worth fixing or wasn't overpriced until a few years ago when I was driving with my wife and saw a 360 parked on the side of the road and she remarked at how cute it was. I did a little research and bid on a few on E bay but the price got too high for me and I backed off the bidding. I set a limit on this one and it was 3 days before the end of the auction which ended on Christmas day. i always bid odd numbers just to eliminate a tied bid. on dec 23 I forgot about the car because I was sure it would get bid up at the last moment but I guess everyone else also forgot about it . My high bid of $1.00 mor than the other bidder stood for 3 days and i had the nwinning bid. So I got a 360 for Christmas.

Hi Welcome to the club. While you are waiting on the shipper you can enjoy the BOR. Shame you didn't get to the ebay before someone bid on it, it had a B I N for 850.00 but it 's still a good find.

Tony:

Welcome to the club. You will find a wealth of knowledge here. You should find a number of members on the east coast who will be more than willing to give you advise and in some cases hands on help.
