I just bought my second Subaru 360. The first one I sold in 1980. My new one was just shipped from the West Coast and was supposed to be in perfect condition. Unfortunately three of the brakes are leaking fluid. Is there anyone in the area that knows how to work on the brakes?

Welcome to the club. I'll be the first to ask pics please? There are many members to help with questions that you may have.

If you did not get the BOOK OF REPRINTS when you joined, it is available
in print or on CD at cost and free online. It is INDEXED, and if you look
under BRAKE SYSTEM you will find everything you need to do it
yourself. Subaru 360 brakes are very easy to work on and require no
special tools except a wheel cylinder hone (if your wheel cyls are scored
or pitted) - and for the most part you need very few tools at all.
I have new (from Raybestos, special order, NOT NOS) wheel cyl seals
in all sizes for 360. There were 2 sizes used on the rear, so check
the # cast into each cylinder (5/8 or 11/16) You may have one of each!
Fronts are 15/16 for truck/van, 13/16 for sedan. $2. each + postage.
E-MAIL me if you want any.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB! Our whole purpose is to help each other
keep our 360s on the road!

Welcome to the club. Ed is right everyone is here to help you and you will find a camaraderie here that you won't in other clubs. I just got my first 360 and it is not in perfect shape, but I'm going to have just as much fun as you in it soon.
The Book of Reprints should be your first location to look for anything but then this message board is the next best area to get help.
