Checking in from Santa Clarita, CA

Hello,

I am a new guy checking in here from Santa Clarita, CA. I am currently in the process of tracking down a van or truck that is decent shape. I figured that this website would be a good place to start learning about the 360s, and maybe even pick up some new skills. I have been around Subaru vehicles for pretty much most of my life as my father was a pretty big fanatic. I guess one could say that I somewhat inherited the passion and have been heavily active with repairs, and mods while being very active in the Subaru community. I hope to meet some new people and find what I have come looking for at subaru360club.org!

Take care,

^ Thank you for the warm welcome! There are a couple of 360s available in the area, but I am going to resist the urge and hold out until I find the right one.

If you know any details on the ones in your area be sure to share.
people here are more than hungry to know where and how every 360 is.

^ I hear ya...

The ones that I have found is the blue and white van in San Diego, the 360 Sedan deluxe in Palm Springs, and lastly, the blue pick-up in the Bay area. Don't worry, I would post them if they hadn't already been posted up on the forum. I dont feel the need to create multiple threads on the same topic.

So what is your idea of the "right one"? are you looking for a finished and sorted Subie 360 ?

My first choice would be a van and second a truck that is running, or would need minimal work to be running solid. The interior and exterior with minimal rust and most everything still in tact. All of those options may be a pretty tall order as the majority I have seen in the past are pretty rough and need some serious attention.

I hear ya. Most of what pops up is a restoration candidate. A lot of times sellers don't know what they have and instantly think it's worth big $$ when it's just the opposite. It's hard to find a solid runner, but sounds like you have the patience. You came to the right place to find what your're looking for. Something will turn up in your favor.
